Okay, you definitely can't call this bad just because the mc died, but alan is so smart. Though he is reckless, bella and theo is so stupid that they made alan smart. What annoyed me most is bella when she said to mc that he can't cloud her judgement, but right from the start she is. I don't like the fact that she put the justice in her hands just to get the "satisfaction" she got from avenging her lover. In the mc, though he has amnesia, he is completely aware that alan was the killer yet he didn't try to explain himself to bella to try and change her mind. But if i were jack (mc), i would just give up on my life because of bella's stupidity. Jack was tired and not having memories, he is stuck on the fact that no one will accept him as he was labelled as the killer.
As for the story itself, just a self preference but a sequel of Will would be good because on the last panel he seems confused about the news, and it was later revealed about alan's scheme on framing Jack, and using Theo's identity years later.
Anyways, i highly advice that please let yourself be occupied and avoid being bored . Touch some grass or touch your meat but please don't be bored.
