This is to explain the timelines without spoiling anything too much: In the novel, there are three timelines. The first timeline is the first season in the manhwa which is the original Aeroc and Kloff. The second timeline is season two (maybe three?) of the manhwa where Aeroc remembers his past memories of his first life with Kloff but Kloff doesn’t remember anything about their tragic past resulting in what’s going on right now. The third timeline is the opposite where only Kloff remembers his past memories but Aeroc doesn’t and it’s so much worse
