It took me way too long to realise this was from Kiss me liar. I thought the characters looked familiar….
I feel like that we needed way more scenes from 10 years ago. Like one chapter doesn’t feel enough to show why and how the characters like each other. It makes the angst not feel like real angst and the romance feels forced and fake. It feels like we are reading the end of a story and have missed the journey. Like I’m told they like each other and I just have to believe it?
IMO if we had more story of their past I feel like the characters may feel less stupid and less like pushovers. Like the whole thing with Bliss and the contract is too sudden and just there cause yeah and for Jin we could actually see more of why he fell in and then out of love. If we could actually see the chemistry form between them and maybe it’d actually be more enjoyable?
