Fun fact when gable said "do I need to go clean up/to go clean up the mess" he was referring to ilays past one night stand partners. Some would go unconscious and would even have blood soaked legs (like my source said credits to that person) and tearing. He would continue to do it even when they tell him to stop or even try to run away. So gables job was to go in and "clean up", and take them to the hospital after.
So basically this chapter was just gable realizing that Tay is different from his past partners and that maybe ilay is changing (kinda fucked up in a way) bc he never cared about "after care". And ilay telling him to not go in there room in the future was the cherry on top. Basically he never cared abt his past partners- and that's mentiond on chapter 105 when Tay said "guess everyone else you've been with was perfectly fine" and ilay answered with "can't say. never cared". It's kind of bitter sweet in a way.. it's nice that ilay is changing but then you remember his past partners and it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. (Also I've read the novel and well it gets crazier, I like that they're sweet now but lm not gonna forgwt how ilay treated tay in some of the novels, he's truly a monster. But they do have their sweet so and ilay spoils tf out of him)
