Kinda a spoiler since I'm basically saying space Hyung is the mc
I hate how in BL the male lead is like always an untouched pure fairy, especially in stories with
grown adults. Always have no one but mc in their eyes even though MC is allowed to get around as much as he wants. I think its just sexist, as most male authors write women to be like that while most female authors write the ml to be like that no matter the gender mc is. Convinced its just sexism and purity culture, and it's gets on my nerves like cmon I can't be the only one.
EITHER WAY no shade to ml but the whole space Hyung thing feels really forced because there is absolutely no way anyone stays in love with someone they met once in their childhood so much they base their whole personality on it and are willing to die on it. Ik its not impossible, it just feels like the way ml goes about it is a really excessive way of pushing the ml x mc agenda, like he could quietly accept temporary guiding while getting stronger to help find space Hyung with his power, but hes so explosive about it (can't stand characters that be shouting all up on my screen idc if it's speech bubbles I can hear the echoes in my head and it's obnoxious I swear)
