So far this story really stands out to me in the dom/sub verse because its really good at showing the appeal of command play without crossing into uncomfortable rapey territory. Right now of course the fact that Masa is only a switch aides in how chill they are, but another big factor is how careful oto is not to overstep boundaries, which is kinda underlooked in some stories. Generally, I love that the story focuses on mutual enjoyment of the play instead of heavy submission or domination which easily could’ve been done when Oto found out Masa was a switch ♡´・ᴗ・`♡
Nonetheless, stories always gotta have some sorta conflict so im just praying its relationship struggles - not another strong dom being introduced or Masa struggling to suppress his own dom instincts ಠ_ಠ
Sorry for the late response but just wanted to say thank you for the rec<3
The emphasis on taking care of the sub and the doms overall carefulness to not overstep boundaries was really enjoyable to read especially considering that they do have more of a power imbalance compared to the couple in this story.
Their miscommunicatiom was a little annoying lol but this story was a good read and i enjoyed the doms overall character. Ty(≧◡≦) ♡
awww I'm so happy to hear you liked it! I'm a nosy person so hearing actual feedback feels so rewarding lmao so ty!! the miscommunication is mostly why I said the Dom was more likable imo lol, like it literally could and can be solved with one proper convo but nooo– god forbid a guy actually talks to his lover and play partner (︶︿︶)
For anyone wanting to read more, I know the sequel has been translated on myreadingmanga. Not sure about other manga sites but you could also probably check there

Here’s the link for anyone wanting to read though:

thought that the drama was over but if tachibana namedrops either of them, matsuuras def going to try blackmailing kurosawa
On the other hand, I don’t think we’ll have to worry about misunderstandings as long as adachi and kurosawa continue communicating their feelings. More so just worried about their jobs being compromised now (;´༎ٹ༎`)
There’s a 50% chance of the romance or bromance route considering the author has made both a straight romance manga and a BL... so now the only option is to just enjoy the addition of some new characters
I’m actually hurt by the fact that they didn’t invite tamura to the amusement park though

Happy to see this story back but it is a little bittersweet bc of the references to the junko furuta case in the latest chapter knowing that she will never really recieve the justice she deserved
Unlike the fictional world of hiroki dan her murderers are still alive living peacefully bc their sentences only ranged from 5-20 years. It really goes to show just how flawed the criminal justice system for juveniles is in Japan because they legally couldn’t recieve a life sentence despite the gravity of their crimes. Additionally, as the manga showed some of the culprits also reoffended after being let out just to again be arrested and released
Honestly i am a little surprised overall that the author took inspo from this case just for it to span one chapter and be wrapped up so quickly. I know that’s the usual style of this manga but considering how serious the case was, i’m surprised they made it the beginning of the new volume and not a couple of chapters that seriously reflects on the justice system or even the people around the perpetrators that allowed the crime to continue such as the parents. I’m a little mixed on the depiction of this crime bc if the author had been more true to the real events it could come off as exploitative but at the same time it feels a little icky to take inspo from a real case and only consider the perpetrators ( ̄へ ̄).
These are just my thoughts nonetheless and I am happy to see this story come back especially with a new art style that’s still really good and unique to the story<3
May junko furuta rest in peace
right, it was so familiar and i realized the similarities. I cant help but be sad about it.
exactly, it was hard reading this chapter knowing the reference
