There are theories that he could be a monster too, but i think he might be something similar, but a little different.
1. He doesn't remember anything from that past the person attacking him talked about but unless they have a lost twin (which would be boring solition), the lady was too sure that he's the one who killed them.
I wonder if that's true.
2. His girlfriend and "friends" are keeping him unaware and made him not believe in what he saw. It's almost like making him believe that it's all in his head is better than him learning the truth (which in it's own way it's almost as they're trying to keep him safe from something)
3. I also don't think that he's a normal human since unless all monsters somehow connect mentally or girlfriend is some higher being weirdly obsessed with mc, then it makes no sense that this group of monsters in the building that acknowledged his presence but ignored him despite being the witness. They instead focused on a person trying to kill him which make me to believe that he either is some weird mix/kind/breed of monster or maybe someone who started their existence or might be really influential.
(It kinda reminded me of Apocalypse no Toride, but we'll see)
Not sure how it would work since it's only 8 ch at moment of writing this, but i don't think he's the same as the other monsters but I don't believe he's a human.
4. Unless he's healing is much slower than other monsters, then by the time he got to the apartment he shouldn't have any sign of beating he just recieved and he was limping which leads me to believe he's not just one of them, since his girlfriend was completely fine after getting hit by a car.
I wonder what will happen since the monsters either by someone's command or by itself helped the mc. Not sure who is on which side and who wants to help, who doesn't so I'm just waiting for next chapters~
