Honestly I had super high hopes for it in the beginning, lots of things were going on and the MC was investigating what the previous owner of the body did. His bodyguard friend figured out who he was and then…..that’s it, the guy literally vanishes. He hasn’t been introduced in chapters now and the MC isn’t even investigating anymore, just continuing to be an idol. That would have been fine if it wasn’t already at 60 chapters. The way this stories going, there’s so many fillers that I honestly think it’ll be 150+ chapters long before it’s finished. This is also labelled as shounen ai, yet there’s not been a single indication of this in any chapter. I’m all for slow burns but this is next level, it’s slow burn because there’s nothing there. No romance or anything, 60 chapters in at that. There’s also so many things that were introduced but never talked about again. Even that actor that threatened him, we still don’t even know what he was threatening the MC with or what he was even talking about. That was like 30 chapters ago or so as well. Honestly the art is soo pretty, that I’m not dropping it yet but things need to start moving along with the main plot.

Honestly I don’t particularly understand why there’s so much hate towards Jooin, if you reread the story it shows that the only person truly ever in the wrong was Yahwi. Besides the fact he SA’d Jooin, he also neglected his feelings annd continuously ignored him in front of classmates. When Jooin confronted him to see what they were, he just saw Jooin as a toy for his own personal pleasure. Never taking note of his feelings or truly caring for Jooin. Personally I feel as though Jooin’s reactions to all this (having his feelings played by a shitty guy, that kinda just wanted him for s*x) were realistic. Jooin was, and still is a victim in this and I’m tired of people seeing the good in shitty semes with “surprisingly” messed up childhoods (eye roll, such an annoying trope ong). That being said I’m rooting for Cain and Jooin, even though I know Jooin will end up with Yahwi (messed up, if u ask me). Just thought I’d preface it’s only because of Cain that Yahwi decided to be better, I’m sure in the beginning it was because Yahwi didn’t want what’s “his” being taken away. Cain threatened their already strained relationship and now that Jooin is no longer in his grasp, he’s realised his feelings. Too late though, I must say. That being said, I hope Yahwi gets hit by a truck, he needs karma fr.
That being said Cain is my baby fr. Man could be a serial killer but I would not care. He’s literally the sweetest and has been nothing but patient!!!!

You guys are misinterpreting .....taesung didn't want sooyoung to get hurt so that he could make him stay with him forever.....countless times from beginning chapters till now taesung has been telling sooyoung not to rush blindly into dangerous situations.he even cut the fingers of his rapist ,jisung....but sooyoung doesn't care about getting hurt.....sooyoung had an abusive father who beat him . Sooyoung also got into boxing and didn't care if the punches of the opponent would break his skull open. Sooyoung didn't care about his hand and punched the walls. He was silent when jisung raped him.
He rushes to get hurt in a masochistic manner and taesung realized that ...that's why he decided to ignore forcing sooyoung not to get hurt and let him rush to danger and experience the consequences
Taesung knew sooyoung was in danger yet chose to ignore it. It's the fact that he didn't stop or help sooyoung that really irritated me. His reasoning which he literally states is to bind sooyoung to him. The only reason soonyoung is even in these dangerous situations is because of him, the least he could do is protect him.

Honestly I decided to give this a shot since it had a rating of 9.2, but after reading over 40 chapters I've reaslised she's one of the most stupidest FL I've come across and I've read a lot of shitty manga/manhwa. The art, yes is absolutely amazing but the FL is too nice, that she's stupid. She needs to realise that this Era that she is in is different, they have different customs. She trusts people so blindly, and for that she gets taken advantage of. She's an Empress, meaning that she will face a lot of threat and shouldn't trust people!!! And talking it out with words ??? Yes that would be okay in her world but in this world and Era, raising your sword and showing no fear is sometimes the best. Like that maid tarnished her name with the citizens, literally dragged her name in the mud, had everyone gossiping about her !!! And yet she wanted he Emporer to " use words ", like no she has to be made an example of to show that no one can tarnish the Empresses name and get away with it. Idk if the maid got punished because I dropped it a couple pages into the maid's court hearing. So if you love amazing art but a kinda annoying/stupidly nice FL then go ahead and read it, but for me this isn't my cup of tea. Ugh I really wish I liked it but the FL just bothers me so much cus the art ( Emperor) is *chefs kiss* exquisite.

Does nobody realise how cruel this was?? The fact that Taewon purposefully kept Yusung by his side for years, treating him like actual shit and he knew the entire time that Yusung liked him?? Like yes how amazing that Taewon did some nice things for Yusung behind his back, but that doesn’t justify or erase how badly he treated him. It actually is quite bizarre this is seen as romantic and it very common place in Korean romance plots too but seen usually traditionally seen with as the chaebol or young boss and his female secretary/ underling dynamic quite often. The I treat you horribly because I know you will put up with it and it lets me test how willing you are to put up with the abuse means you really love me back or are worth my love should I feel inclined. It’s honestly disgusting but it’s extremely beloved as a trope it’s the Japanese Tsundre trope but made real with work place harassment and improper power imbalances. It’s why a lot of Korean women don’t want to get married because of the mistreatment they have and the cause of birth rate decline. Yet these same women are part of the patriarchy issue but making media and content that perpetuate these harmful and outdated forms of romantic allowances in a relationship.
