maybe i'm just not a fan of this author. Her story endings are always unsatisfying and the character development is really poor ( ´;ﾟ;∀;ﾟ;)
The character development is unmatched. What are you talking about. The ending sucks but saying the character development sucks when it’s the main focus of the story really screams that you didn’t read nor understand the story at all.
or maybe your standards are too low? the story should've been longer to truly highlight how much nakwon regretted assaulting mokhwa. yes, he did feel bad, but it wasn't enough. he should've groveled before mokhwa. mokhwa was abused. he even admits it. he says that what he did was an abuse of power, but its not enough. he should've communicated with mokhwa better and proved that they could move forward from this.
and i love mokhwa, but the author needed to show how he coped with what happened to him way better than what they did. what happened to him should've done something, but he was oddly plain? he went through a lot while he was in that gang-thing and he was also abused by his higher-ups. that trauma could've brought something up for him, but it didn't. there was no emotional turmoil. he moved on and smiled like it was nothing. there's not enough depth to these characters.
