I read this story years ago it was in the first season and was traumatized by the uke's tragic experience so i can't read it again and i saw its already completed. Please spoil me instead of why the villain do all that shit to uke and his dad.

the villain targeted the uke because he saw how much the ml cared for the uke so he wanted to steal the uke away from the ml. the villain started hating the ml when they were kids because the villian felt like the ml embarrassed him by saying that he smelled like cigarettes in front of other kids who laughed at him. ever since that moment he wanted revenge so he decided stealing away someone the ml cared about was the way to go.
the villain then started targeting the dad because if you recall, when the uke and ml got together in season 1 the ml tells the uke to stay away from the villain and if he didn’t then the ml would beat the villain up. in order to avoid the villain and the ml getting hurt, the uke listened and stayed away from the villain. this made the villain feel like the uke chose the ml over him and that the ml won instead of him so before he gets sent to america after he murders the manager, he kills the uke’s dad in order to punish the uke for choosing the ml over him

She's not actually evil. She is just very concerned about how other people perceive them as the daughter of the clan and her daughter as technically the eldest and heir. She is kinda tsundere because she can't Express her thoughts well and try to beat around the bush too much. She was concerned about how others will think that her niece/nephew looks disheveled while her daughter is wearing expensive clothes (her in-law are really rich merchant fam despite his husband a son-in-law of danmok)
He's a pitiful being who don't understand emotion well. He can't express his love and care to his siblings that's why Chase the only normal among siblings hates him.
