When he had the son call him mom, it was because he was desirous of being the SO of his crush, and that this child would have been the one to have called him mom. He DIDN'T have him call him mom to get a rise out of it. Not until he heard him call his mom, mom, that there came a cross-association with his feelings of sexual and romantic attraction to his crush, that he had to run away. When he had the son call him mom, he didn't get a reaction out of it at all. Not until his crush came home. The context changed. That's when he realized his wish to be the son's mom had cross-transferred, and he HAD to get the hell outta there.

It's not that you're not entitled to an opinion. I'm talking about your understanding of the story. I've met way too many young ppl on this site. I've always thought only adults use this site bcz nobody makes these kinds of remarks when they are mature. I don't know how old you are, but the comments, not just yours, shows a lack of understanding of the story (and stories like these, or in general, that requires a higher level of thinking). When I go thru the comments section, it gives me a headache that kids read these stuff. All I can tell you, is that your comments make you sound as if you're a teen or young adult. These sorts of relationships—in manwha and in real life—are not entirely black and white. My interpretation is perhaps a much darker shade of grey than yours, as I’ve had to deal with the effects of grooming in a way different than other people (maybe different from yourself, who knows). My main issue with the content is how what MC did made his crush’s kid sexually enamoured with MC, and I just can’t feasibly see how 1) the kid turned out this way without some behavior from MC when he was younger and 2) why the dad would be okay with someone who was his age and watched the child having a relationship (in our society this would scream childhood grooming). Luckily this is fiction and luckily we are not in court, but I will still call out how baffling it is to see such an unrealistic reaction from a parent figure and how certain events tie to current, real attitudes around these relationships.

The CHILD WAS IN NO WAY corrupted by the adult. He was perhaps (four) when he was babysat. He had NO IDEA the uncle wanted to be his real mom. The adult did not engage in sexual act towards the child. And did not request him to call him mom to act out his sexual fantasy twds his crush (the dad). The word mom signified the relationship to the dad as being the mom is the CLOSEST he can be to the dad because in reality he cannot be called Honey by the dad. He's imagining himself as the spouse and hence "mom" to the kid, whom would have been his and theirs. He was imagining being a mom to their kids, not mom in a sexual way twds the kid. He did not, while interacting with the kid, have any sexual thoughts twds the kid. Did not get aroused. Only when the parents came home did the word trigger him. And upon realizing being called mom made him horny, for the dad, not the kid, he couldn't be around the kid anymore. But the sexual attraction wasn't twds the kid. Now, the kid has his OWN obsession twds the uncle. That's a different issue. The role play he did was, hey, call me mom. And the kid goes, ok, then call me dad. The uncle never said, I'll play mom and YOU play dad. There was never a transfer nor a substitute. And yes, you were carrying your real world issues into a make-believe world. So now he's a full-grown adult. And whether or not the dad would have approved, if the kid (who's a kid in relations to their age, but who's now a legal adult) decides to pursue the uncle there's nothing the parent can do to stop him. It's fiction. If I were the parent I'd be concerned too, but let's say the dad knows the uncle to be an upstanding guy, aside from crushing on himself, then he could accept the age gap. A d depending on how their conversation goes, he could make an exception. I don't know. That's how the author decided to go with it. But there is NO GROOMING AND NO PEDO whatsoever

Some stories could potentially go that way, but that wasn't how it was played out in THIS particular story.

The child was obsessed with the uncle. He said "I missed you a lot". His uncle played with him a lot. Made him happy. Etc. But his absence could perhaps make him even MORE desirous of him. He never thought, "uncle wanted to be a mom, but bcz he doesn't have children, he wanted to be a mom so he wanted to be called mom". He literally just went there with the oh, uncle wanted me to call him mom bcz he gets sexually aroused!? That's some leap of fiction right there!!!

Also yes, this is fiction and the preference is well 1) age gap 2) older/parental-figure-aged kink. Who else would kbsess over their UNCLES?!? 3) borderline incest kink.
