Yvonne wants the piece but Penelope states she doesn’t have it anymore and Yvonne gets mad and asked what is she most afraid of and Penelope states she is afraid of nothing. She is then suddenly taken back to her life in Korea and she unfortunately was found dead and her family was getting blamed and the younger brother was yelling how they should have never brought her because the company stocks are plummeting and Penelope breakers down and the game system states she is being brainwashed (so maybe what she saw in Korea isn’t true but I haven’t read far enough to know) and she uses a magic spell and throws Yvonne across the room and she starts to bleed and goes unconscious. The head maid walks in and starts freaking out cause and was about to tell the duke but out of nowhere Emily knocks the head maid out with a stool and makes sure Penelope is able to run away and she takes care of the head maid and Yvonne.(That’s all I have for this scene but I can spoil more if you want)

Okay so Penelope successful manages to escape dressed up as a male servant and goes to Vinters shop to collect money she left (I don't remember why she did it) but then has a realization that Yvonne's power is strong and can brainwash him so ask him for what I think is the magical item she left behind to him to protect it (I think it was the another piece of the mirror but im not sure) once he give it to her after having heartfelt conversations (we also get told how Leila, the demon possessing Yvonne, was sealed away by real strong mages in a mirror and her followers were able to damage apart of the mirror which is what they uses) and leaves to run away (Vinter also gives her item to help her an give her the money) she meets Derrick and h realizes it's Penelope and asks her why she left and to come back but that was when she tells him she hates him and want nothing to do with him and rips a scroll in front of him and he tries to catch her but he was too late. She then make it to an island (I think its the place where Callisto was sent to fight the rebels) and want to go to the island that Leilas followers were at and takes a boat but while she was trying to go to the island a kraken attacks them and Callisto ends up saving her an helps her defeat it and he states how he missed her and that he'll lover her and after begging her he joins her on her mission to the island (I still don't know why she went but once i do I'll comment once again) an that's all the spoilers i have so far but I'll be quick in reading the novel

I haven't reach this part yet but, from what i've been reading online—Deon spares Ed from his killing sprees (aka, him killing the Demon king, Emperor and Duke) and Ed was the one who buried Deon when he died. ┗( T﹏T )┛

i actually like this ending i was expecting that but im happy he killed them of first, i feel like im at peace now

Still pretty sad though, yet i feel comforted by the fact that there is a sequel to the novel. "The immortal has a guardian spirit" is the title if you're wondering!
