It also doesn’t help that Chinese readers have been complaining about every little thing they can possibly find about the story smh. They’re complaining about the art being boring, Sein getting too much attention, Aisha not being strong enough, and Aida not getting enough attention.
Chinese readers really lost their minds with their insane standards. They did this to little mushroom too. (There is some defending the story, but majority are degrading it there).

Okay so I checked two apps where the official Chinese raws are uploaded. It looks like it’s rated highly tbh. Majority rate it 5 stars. So either these low ratings are from somewhere else or they mean low numbers of views, comments, likes, ranking, compared to other manhuas. Cause in that case, it’s true that the initial 3 chapters had around 30k to 60k likes, and over time it lowered right after to 400 to 90 likes per chapter. It could very well be due to the harsh criticism or unpopularity of the story over in China. And some comments said that it takes a long time for chapters to be uploaded.
