Lmaoo this got me to read and finish the entire novel right away. (The novel isn’t that long in my opinion, it’s 2 volumes) It’s interesting to see how their relationship developed. The only thing that bothered me in the novel was how vague the time skips were in the story. Like I could be reading the story and then all of a sudden they mention how it’s been a year or years since they met. They don’t show a clear amount of time.
And it’s annoying how much ppl be complaining about the art. I guess that’s the problem with spin-offs main story. Fans of the main will never be satisfied with art they’re already used to. Which is a shame because I think this art is beautiful and has a detailed and soft style. You can see it when it comes to the backgrounds and features of the characters.

It’s funny to see how xinlu goes from being an unstable violent man to being a needy bf LOL. He’s the type of bf to whine about yuri not contacting him enough or yuri not loving him as much as he is. He’s so jealous and possessive.
