I honestly think the best choice is to end the contract and for MC to just run away overseas and keep a low profile so he can be kept away from both the brother and the ML. Or better yet, why not fake his death himself? Like others say, not a single person is on his side right now, and he really doesn’t have any emotional support whatsoever. No friends or family he can at least talk to. It’s no wonder MC is so anxious when he’s only able to stick to himself and ML won’t even listen to him. Damn why is it after 43 chapters there’s no character development in the ML at all, nor is there any relationship development. It’s just a long journey of MC suffering. I can see this heading towards the ML not doing anything until it’s too late. The main point is that ML truly does not care enough to investigate harder into the truth. He takes any surface level rumors and then carries on with his day. He’s still solely focused on himself and his own goals.
