Anyways a lot of the suffering is caused by both FL and ML. FL at first was threatened and ended up making ML go blind. She took care of him out of guilt. Then when she hid from him, she was stubborn af about not telling him her true identity. She thought “I’ll repent and not tell him so I could get punished.” (Which honestly helped no one and it just made further trauma and guilt for both her and the ML..) She even drank poison which I assume she intended to kill herself, which caused damage and a miscarriage. ML hit her stomach so she didn’t get to fully drink all of the poison. So she was able to survive, but with the cost of the baby. So I don’t wanna hear anyone blaming the ML for “killing their child.” It was actually FL that made that choice by poisoning herself. Though it’s true ML did cause FL to suffer more due to the punishments cause he didnt know her identity.
Now I think ML would have more blame if FL told him the truth and he chose not to believe it. But FL was adamant of not admitting she was rose, so she just made bigger problems for everyone tbh.
