Definitely not trynna defend jaekyung's action but can we please be realistic and forget about our emotions for a second? Joo jaekyung paid for the grandma's hospital bills AND Kim Dan's debt. From the manhwas that I've read, when loan shark go that far in domestic violence (the start of this manhwa) usually the debt would be around hundreds of millions of won ( could be 500k dollars if not more or less )
And the idea of buying a person is NOT a good thing at all, but in the end Kim Dan did ask Jaekyung for 14k dollars a month and you really gotta let go of your pride for that.
I know yall will down vote me and I totally understand, but at the end of the day, Kim Dan got desperate, and it's due to him constantly blaming himself for not taking his grandma for a checkup before she got diagnosed with all that. It's the negativity piling up that made him make those decisions that ended badly. And even though this manhwa is nowhere near realistic you guys sure comment like it is
Anyways to end this, jaekyung is growing soft to Dan even though it's barely showing and this manhwa will end up like any other mc in debt manhwa. Jaekyung will forget about the debt and maybe next year we'll see them dating and yalls comments will be like "AWH JAEKYUNG IS TREATING KIM DAN LIKE A PRINCESS!!! GOALS!!!" or smth
