This might be one, if not the most insane build for a FL I’ve ever scene. It’s like Oda off a perc. One ankle break during basketball and it’s over.
the main character was a demon lord’s descendant (Maou I think) but it takes place in the modern day. He’s kinda a bum, has black hair. Basically the top is a blond guy whose job it is to subjugate the hero (it’s part of his bloodline as well) and he’s rougher and I think implied part of a criminal organization. They’re both in their thirties and it’s somewhat enemies to lovers.
Was it this one? The top isn't blonde, but the plot is similar.

I’ve noticed along with the artstyle change, the panels have become increasingly busy. There is just far too much going on, way too many patterns and not as much focus on a specific subject. In the pursuit of detail it’s becoming a bit of a nightmare to look at. Difficult to pay attention when my eyes aren’t being drawn to a specific part of the picture.
The earlier chapters had a lot of patterns as well to be fair, but the focus on characters and fading made it far more bearable.
