Soohyun’s inferiority complex turned to obsession, and unbeknownst to him, it turned to possessiveness that gradually changed his feelings for Eunsung— what a mess. I like how both have their own points of view of the past and present that add up to how the story unfolds. Soohyun’s one of the best bottoms I’ve encountered in manhwa. He’s strong-willed and would do anything to achieve what he’s set his mind to. I like that he’s the driver of their relationship and is engraving into Eunsung’s mind what needs to be done when the latter almost gave up on it. I must say, Soohyun’s obsession is the only obsession I approve of!
I felt bad for Eunsung, everyone admires him, but were also waiting for him to break and make fun out of it. He’s good at everything, but it becomes a burden.
I sobbed for Lee Shinhae, he didn’t deserve any of that. I hope he gets therapy and gets past the trauma. I hope he’ll be happy and still enjoy making art. I hope all the pupils who had to go through all that pain to achieve their dreams get treated well and become happy.
And for those fucking highschool classmates, hope karma gets them soonest! And to that art professor, even just saying that professor’s name makes me sick. I hope he rots in prison. I wouldn’t even wish for him to die because that’ll be nothing compared to what he’s done. I wish his ass got fucked in prison and suffered until he died with no one around him once he took his last breath!
