It almost felt like a tragedy, thank goodness it ended with them being happy together. I wanted to blame Kasai-sensei for what Katou went through, but ofc there’s no point in that bc Kasai made the right decision as a teacher and an adult at that time. It’s still prolly not good, but I wish he told Katou before that once he graduated from college, they could try dating, but that’s just Kasai leading him on without knowing if he can really date his former student and a man at the same time. I just hoped Kasai realized his feelings early on, like before Katou made some bad decisions. It’s a good read for teacher x student trope, but can’t reread it bc it’s quite angsty.
I know it might sound ridiculous, but I mostly feel heartbroken whenever the MC confesses his first love to ML, but the latter can’t reciprocate the feelings due to some reason, so the MC does his first time with someone he’s not in love with. I am one of those people who attach special importance to one’s virginity and believe that someone’s first time should be with their first love. Oh btw, Sata is a disgusting piece of shit!
