I read this a long time ago, so I'm not sure if I'm recalling the details correctly. I think it was either a shonen ai or yaoi. The main character comes home to Japan after studying abroad to attend his father's funeral. He suspects that his younger step brother killed his father. The step brother was actually raped by the father. A lot of stuff that I don't recall the details for happened in between, but I think it was mostly of the main character trying to figure out the truth behind the death of his father and avenging him. I think the main character also developed feelings for the step brother and learned about the rape. I recall this scene where the step brother tried to commit suicide (or fell into a pond on a rainy night) but was saved by the main character, and they were by a fireplace when the step brother told the main character of what happened. There was a time jump and the setting changed to New York? I remember the main character trying to search for the step brother who is a bit mentally unstable and is using drugs? It's really been too long and I can only recall this much, but I hope you guys can help me find this manga. Thanks!

The first one has the main character losing his lover to an accident, and when he was about to kill himself, his lover goes to him as a ghost/spirit. After the dead lover convinces him to move on, the dead lover's spirit finally leaves. However, the dead lover reincarnates with his memory of his previous life intact and they continue to be lovers again. The second manga is about the main character wanting revenge from his dead girlfriend's murderer. He does this by getting close to the murderer, gaining his trust, and then taking away his most cherished thing. I literally went through so many titles but still can't find them again, so thanks to anyone who can help me!
