Should have sold him out. Go to the USA for the treatment move job plus give away his secrets! He deserves nothing. I hate him and don't want to see him redeemed. I don't care how sad his back story is he's a cretin and deserves to be ruined and miserable
genuinely though I would have moved to work for them instead, get them to pay the guy back and the US treatment and leave. So don't actually sell him out but move on and pay the debt back, no reason to feel guilty then.
