Thank you but tbh I wasn't talking about the mistreating part, it's just that they sorta left us with an open ending... the way dude was beat up was terrible, respect that mc owned up to his mistake but the way he was falling for toxic behavior whenever he was about to blackmail ml... welp letting him go home was the right thing to do despite how heartbroken he was, just wish we got more development in their relationship. It's lilke it was about to blossom but the story was cut short, that's why I say bittersweet...
