I realized that Hirano might be ace. It never occurred to me all this time reading it, until today. Which is funny because I'm ace. But when I read romance I don't expect an MC to be ace because that's usually counter to what you're looking for in a romance.

But if that ends up being the case, this story is a nice way to present it. You can feel both the big differences and the sameness in their feelings about each other.

we're at the point of the story I've been waiting for.
I'm anticipating the next chapter more than any of the chapters released in the last 6 months (that's when I started reading it)
