Ohhh so my theory is like halfway correct then(?), i thought abt this before but he could be a fragment of Mimi or the original rocky. The reason why i thought he could be him (rocky) BUT from a different "timeline" cause time travel stuff is not as easy and simple as "you comeback to the past and change the future" so it's actually make sense if he's rocky too... but it's like he "ascended" and become "God-like" to "redeem" himself, remember when i told you that the symbol in the coffin where MC was trapped by the grave robbers, he bleed from his hand thus his blood "awakened" rocky, and there's symbols that associated with Anubis and some symbols represent "rebirth".

CW // SPOILER FROM ANOTHER MANHWA

The concept of "get back to the past" is similiar with a straight manhwa called "For the Sake of Sita" (SOOO GOOD BTW YOU GUYS SHOULD READ IT), there's this dialogue, "if you want your Sita back, can you sacrifice your Sita?" Cause MC/ML can't be with FL in his current timeline that's why God sent him back to the past (and made him more older than his current age) to meet young-Sita to help her with her life so when she's old enough she'll meet with another version of him (like a different variant of him) so there's this older version of ML which become Sita's guardian and the current ML which gonna be Sita's husband. Two people, same soul, in one timeline.

Maybe Mehemis/Mimi and Anubis are like that too. Two people, same soul, different fragments, exist in one timeline, liking the same person. Cause in this current timeline Anubis can't be together with someone he could probably die for—which is MC, so being a God-like creature is not a blessing but a punishment for him. Cause it "forbid" him to being capable for identified the "romantic" feeling or simply falling in love. So being an Anubis or God-like creature is his punishment cause of his past life's decisions. He even has to sacrifice his "heart" which is MC. I think the reason why he's like so "cold-blood" when he first get introduced is not solely because he's a divine being but because he doesn't have his "heart" with him yet (which is MC and maybe the purple necklace or the red heart stone one/? Remember that one??), notice how he started to show some human emotions where he interacted more and more with MC? Especially after they've been together in that realm. Somehow, this also explained why he (Anubis) can only be summoned by sacrificing someone from royal blood (in this case, it's that little brother of Mehemis right? The one with white hair, sorry, forgot his name)

So... His other fragment (Mimi/Mehemis current timeline) can be with MC cause that version of him hasn't make any sins yet cause MC come back to the past and made him the way he is right now. But he, himself as a God-like creature, can't be together with MC in this current timeline cause that's the one he sould sacrifice for so that Ebiz and its people won't get destroyed... how sad (｡•︿•｡)

Anyways - Haven't finished reading yet, but honestly the fucking art is to die for. I love the eyes, it inspires my brain like a DND bard's wacky inspiring tune. Plot is pretty good, FL's transformation is expected and badass as shit, and the story isn't all that hard to follow.

some people like it, some people don't, I personally love this just because I like licking every panel that has FL's face. That is all, thank you for coming to my degenerate Ted talk.

I like that the original Viola isn't gone, but just chilling until she is needed. She probably saw all of FL's memories and knows the novel's contents (or at least can guess from FL's thoughts), so she just lets FL do her thing.
It's more believable than FL suddenly getting good at fighting when she is basically a normal person.

if you guys are interested i would really REALLY recommend you guys read the novel after this because it brought so many perspectives that weren't able to translate on drawings. their feelings, their pasts, their perceptions. how they think, hurt and cope. toxic scenes aside, it's a really great read for someone whose life is always on edge. especially, when the author gives the pov to eugeon, you can see how much he's grown to live for the worst, until he lives for the better.

The art is really doing all the work and putting in overtime. There’s so many plot holes, loose threads, and sloppy writing going on.
•Like what even is MC’s motivation at this point?
•I don’t even remember what quest she’s trying to fulfill.
•Why make that dude your disciple if you literally don’t teach him or help him with anything?
•What about the missing saint or whatever she is?
•What happened to getting justice for OG Rene being SA by the pope or whatever he is?
•What about the system glitches?
•What about whatever is mind controlling the prince?
I could probably go on and on but I don’t feel like going back and re-reading atp. I’m gonna have to just let this marinate. Then, hopefully, by the time I come back SOMETHING will have been resolved or have made some progress.
