When I mean by bad plot twists, I’m talking about stories where the “twist” ruined the entire story for you. Instead of the plot-twist enhancing the story or wanting to have you read more, the “twist” just felt like an a*s pull out of nowhere, to the extent that it made the entire story feel cheap.

(Example troupe of a bad twist: “It was all a dream.”)


I’ll go first, this may be an unpopular opinion, but “Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion” had a terrible plot twist in my opinion. I know many people liked it, but personally I did not like it whatsoever that I had to drop it back early 2020 when I got spoilers from forums about it. (Twist was that Raeliana was OG!Beatrice (the heroine) all along, like it felt that all the achievements that came from Raeliana was due to plot armor/fate instead of her hard work. It felt cheap asf)

This story is kinda bad but I was entertained the entire time cuz wdym the ML made his love rivals gay just bc he wants to divert their attention away from his girl lmaooo thats a new strat if I ever heard of it

I need more terrible stories plots but when reading it, its super entertaining?

Roena is in the same situation as FL was in her previous time. This time, she is gonna commit su*cide, and FL is persuading her, btw FL is married... and Roena was committing that over her leaving for a year.

FL tried sweet-talking to her, but she was firm, and it was obvious she was sure FL would run to save her. She constantly asked FL if she had ever loved her, even once. FL lied, but she caught her right away.

FL mentions how she looks exactly like she did when she committed that... and she was crying in despair, more like wanted FL's affection kind of thing.

At this moment, when Roena looked at FL.. she was reminded of the past. It seems that after FL ended her life, Roena followed her. FL instinctively ran towards her, wanting to prevent the same thing; time slowed down.

FL had only 1 thought if Roena died too, and start anew like me, I have to save her. (FL thought if Roena died, she would regress as well)

"You can't go back to the position I earned. "You and I can't go back."

FL managed to save her, her life flashed before her, how she endured so many hardships cuz of CP and inferiority complex and other things.

FL, at this point, thought how these situations have so many similarities with the past, it was very confusing for her, she also used to have strange dreams, but now she managed to pull herself together.

"In the end, I overcame my fate." so she gently stroked Roena one last time.

"I won, this is the true happy ending."

And so the fairy tale ended.
(FL still doesn’t like OG FL)
