I find throuple stories interesting because of moments liek this. Moments where two of them fight and the other has to step up and mediate. Kinda brings balance to the mix.
It's more mature and healthy for the directly-involved duo to handle their issue themselves, but it's still interesting to see this scenario nonetheless xD

Hey, does anyone have a bl manga recommendation about them moving on from their past crush?
It would be nice if their crush was their childhood friend or a long-time friend, but their love wasn't meant to be and the mc tries to get over their crush, so he learns to love and settle with the ml? It would be nice if the story focused a bit on that sort of "unrequited and trying to move on" phase; instead of it being brushed off as a plot-device to meet the ml.
TLDR;
- mc crushing on childhood friend/ long-term friend
- mc goes into drama about trying to get over their feelings (not brushed off or rushed)
- mc meets ml and tries to accept their new love
- optional bonus: it would be nice if the mc's former crush is not a no-name character that was just shown in a flashback. It'll be interesting if his character still kept in-touch with the mc; as a reminder of the mc's love or something idk xD

It's not the first time Ive read noble turned commoner stories, but this feels a bit more believable with how the change in status affected mc.
It is quite charming to see the little decisions they take to improve their situation, like the compromises or sacrifices they had the make, and how they emphasize the effects of their change in status despite having some level of connections.
I also like the dynamic of the mc and ml, and how they are focusing on their situation first instead of romance, but I can see how these little actions add up to lead to an emotional outcome; like how mc's open support improves the ml's confidence, and how the ml's honest appreciation may help sway mc's duty-bound/logical mindset. Gaahhh the potential is there!! They're so adorable!!
Okay, I'll stop rambling. I look forward to this story's development. Perhaps I'll let this marinate if I can xD
