Everyone’s been raging about how amazing this is but I only got to chapter 12 before quitting because wtf is this… so far we’ve established they’re both assholes and one of them is a drug addicted psycho. Even if the author gives them both sad backstories it really doesn’t excuse anything

The characters have little to no motivation or personality and not that I have anything against cliche stories, but it’s so painfully unorganized and not backed up by any real plot that the romance falls short. I think the premise is funny and has potential but the story moves too fast and isn’t fleshed out at all, especially when the female lead is in danger and suddenly she remembers: oh yeah I actually drank demon blood when I was 5 so I’m all powerful! Or actually the contract has a hidden clause that no one saw even though it’s been around for centuries. Theres no plot just random elements thrown in all over the place and its so sad because I really wanted to like this
I agree and on top of that, the art is so mediocre. Like I could lowkey forgive it if the art was pretty but it's honestly hard to take the characters seriously when their faces get all wonky. It's not like the art it bad, it's just a style that doesn't suit this story.
Ahhh I really want to like this but the pace is so fast tbf I’m only on chapter 5 but we hardly know the characters and it feels like everything important is happening way too early, there’s no tension leading up to them getting together and it’s kinda sad

I love the progression of this manhwa so much, the plot is genuinely interesting and the characters are actually developed and consistent. I think Cesar’s faked death and return was horribly rushed like many others, but you can never say the story is boring. genuinely love this story and I’m so sad it’s finished!
