ok, i'm a hater of the official translation here because WDYM he calls mc "BOY" instead of "pups"?? what the hell this "boy" thing sounds so WEIRD..... not only that, but also there are some stupid mistakes&typos here and there("EVER now and then"? seriously? not "every now and then"? who tf wrote this&who tf checked this) and also the choice of words overall is not rlly good&feels kinda off??

yup, i thought about that, too. it seems to me that whoever translated this (in off. trans., ofc) didn't thought that much ahead and just went with the "first possible option just picking whatever"

and by the way, BCC have literally mentioned that they are not dropping this manhwa on the notice below one of the chapters(so that all the readers could see it) + their translation always has their team's name in it(in the beginning and and of every chapter) unlike the other one which is bad&stolen from some other website and if you're reading this manhwa from the very beginning you should have noticed that there was a drastic quality change at some point(so it's kinda obvious that there have appeared some another translation from _other_ people) + if you look closely there's a caption for like every chapter and some chapters have "cosmic cat scans/bingsoo cat cafe" in it while the others don't, so......
there are some people who DO know but still read bad translation just because there are "faster updates" and they don't wanna wait, yeah.
note: i am sorry if may i sound kind of rude(?) but i swear i'm NOT writing all this with any aggressive/negative feelings. it's just that i really don't understand why people prefer bad translation over good one + i wanted to inform others. (i've already written several replies to ppl who are not satisfied with translation but i thought that maybe writing a comment like this one[the one above,yeah] is more efficient than informing each and every one of the readers about it)

not only they look as completely different people in the season2, but also they behave differently...i mean, the way ML continues to f*ck MC even after MC said "enough"...while the ML in s1 was really caring, patient and thoughtful...they're really different people, both outside AND inside(tbh if it was only an artstyle change, it wouldn't be such a big problem for me, but the behavior that's out of character...isn't pleasant at all), so ig i'll drop this one while my impression of it isn't completely spoiled.......
this one was interesting to read, but tbh i was kinda triggered bc of mc's internalized homophobia. i mean, i totally understand the reason why he behaves the way he does(when you're raised in a homophobic + heterocentric environment, it's obvious that you can get some internalized issues like that). however, it was still triggering for me because...well, i've experienced a relationship similar to this one described here and for me it was....disastrous + traumatic + without any happy ending. the girl i had a huge crush on had some problems with internalized homophobia, too. just like the mc here. for her it was because she was raised in a kinda religious+homophobic family. at one moment she was telling me that our feelings were completely mutual, and then the other moment she was saying sh1t like "we can't be in a relationship, because we're both girls, it's wrong to be that way" and stuff like that. so i def sympathize with ml here + can relate to his part. he experienced such an emotional rollercoaster....good for them it all ended pretty fine, tho.
sorry for oversharing here, i just got a bit emotional bc of the plot.

like.... it was kinda nice and interesting at first but then ML started contradicting himself like EVERY freaking SECOND?? at one moment he's like "HOW COULD YOU FORGET" and then "ok then i'll start pretending nothing happened, too. not that i care" and then "but i do freakin' care HOW DARE YOU FORGET" and so on
at one moment he pushes MC and then he HUGS HIM??
??? dude what's your problem just TELL HIM ALREADY IF IT HURTS SO MUCH
oh and also he's kinda too aggressive in a bad way. he yells at MC while HE HIMSELF IS THE ONE who didn't want to tell MC what's his problem, he punches MC without hesitation, he grabs MC hand too aggressively, it's not even cute, it's just confusing + weird + unpleasant...........

As someone who had to suffer waiting for chapters back then, this story was nothing but a cash grab. It was cute for a few chapters but then you get dumb drama that don't even make sense. The top 2 worst thing I wasted my time on.
people in the comments say "i don't feel bad for any of them" and i kind of agree with that but also there's at least one character in this specific chapter who did NOT deserve to die, that being...Dame Lianne.
like. screw the emperor(i hated him from the beginning), screw the duke(at first i didn't like him bc he just seemed fishy/sketchy but then it turned out that he is an assh0le, too), screw the demon king(even though i liked him at first and still have some kind of bias towards him, i wholly understand that this damn bastard is just as problematic as the other two). but Dame Lianne? no. can't agree with that. she was a good character, she sincerely worried about Deon. and even when they fought against each other, she was still faithful to him until the end. even though it could seem to y'all that she "betrayed" him bc she didn't join his side but, as Deon stated himself, he betrayed her first. and also. the fact that EVERYONE[i'm talking about lofty knights/mad dogs] left without saying a word to her is kind of cruel, although i do understand why it all happened that way. and, well. it wasn't shown but i presume she really died by Deon's hands...and if it's true, this ending is kind of fitting for her character but also...it's still heartbreaking. she did NOT deserve to die that way. she was just a righteous person fulfilling her duties as a knight, that duties being protection of people in the empire (ik almost everyone has already evacuated, yeah, but still. ig she wanted to try and stop Deon, even knowing that she doesn't stand a chance against him after he became a warrior)
if she's really dead(i still have a minor hope that she may be not. let me be delusional), i'm gonna miss her.
My delulu mind puts her in a role where you can say she's as close to being a romantic interest for deon as it gets... especially when she went to call him deo.... instead of master in that final moment （/TДT)/
