as far as I know. apothecary diaries is pretty unique as a whole.

Can someone please let me know how the last season ended with bada losing his memory? And the role of his cousin in it? I'm too lazy to go back and read it . Thankoo
This is from what i remember, so cmiiw
So basically, bada is the npc in the game while the rest of the teams were a player. Some of the player got frustrated by the game, and they ditched their tape so they became npc. At some point, only doha and seongchan (cousin) that are still playing the game.
To find other endings of the game, seongchan brings bada (still npc) into the game and turns out bada is good at the game. Doha then start having affection to badan and afraid they will be leaving bada when they escape the game since bada is originally an npc. I think they are both arguing at this point, and somehow only bada who play the game while doha and seongchan turns into npc. This brings us to chapter 1 of the story.
Later in the story, seongchan regained his memory when someone put his tape back to a tape player (I forgot how this happen) and seongchan was still pretending to be a npc while doha is getting suspicious if someone is pretending to be npc.
In the last season, seongchan revealed to have his memory back as a player and told bada that he is just an npc. He then hides bada's tape so bada will turn back to npc. That's why in the new chapter, bada lost his memory and turned back to npc.

That guy was not really Bada´s cousin,I will call him S to make thinks easier.
Bada is a NPC that Doha and S picked up at the start of the game for him to help them reach the end of the game. When S got his memories back he hid Bada´s tape erasing his memories and burned the main house down while saying he was the one who stopped Doha´s tape when they weren´t in good terms, he had been playing alone with Bada but he always died first just so Bada could finish the game for him.
S tought that only one player could exit the game and that´s why he and Doha fought.
