I was really enjoying ajin’s character up till inkang’s story. I love complex villain characters, especially if there’s a reason to ruin someone.
In part 1, seunghee was a hot tempered dumbass. All she had to do was feel a lil pissed at ajin’s rude comments and go about her day instead of doing all that.
And part 2, ajin’s dad was a danger to her life and even fucked up her future, so even if she had to manipulate an innocent dude, she still freed herself.
But part 3? Poor inkang’s only sin was loving the wrong people too easily. He suffered so much in his life and career, just for the ultimate betrayal to happen at the lowest point of his life. His end genuinely made me break down that I started wishing for ajin’s downfall. The ending didn’t really deliver but as a character, she’s consistently wicked and it makes this whole story so good.
yes man and even when it was a mistake that it even got released, her reaction after really solidified and it’s lowk twisted as hell as the reader we start to not root for as well
Man it feels so bad that the whole world just forgot abt him while ajin rose even higher which is quite a realistic scenario… the fact that inkang was just an anxious fool in love, honestly he was never even an actual threat to her or her goals despite what the director insinuates, makes it worse that she just threw him away like that T_T
Totally agree and i think it's intentionally delivered like that by the author. To question us, how far we as readers can tolerate her sociopathic behaviours. There's a thin line between being a victim and being a perpetrator. At one point, she stopped being a victim and became a perpetrator. In a way, we were all in Junseo's shoes. We witnessed her misery, we excused her behaviour, and we wished for her downfall.
