Cry for me...damn. That's practically a love confession right there.
And K knows he used violence to cope with the abuse and sadness he couldn't cry about. He looked at his clenched hand. He knew.
That's toxic masculinity, incorrectly seeing that only stoicness and violence is masculine when crying and having empathy for others IS masculinity but denying it as only being feminine and thus only women are allowed to show such emotions.
Boys and men need the full spectrum of their emotions or they only live half lives with rage always boiling under and not knowing why.
K needs therapy. You can't depend on your partner to be your emotional bank.
Because...if something happens to Fabian...K might lose his damn mind.
You can start to see it. K is falling for Fabian...but he doesn't understand those emotions.
Thus he won't be able to properly process his worry and fear when it comes to Fabian.
He already lost one partner, Fabian getting hurt might break K.

Dang, I feel for Jerome.
Konrad doesn't care for him except as a power source then guilt.
There may be friendship vibes, but I can't feel anything deeper than him just using him.
Jerome is obsessed with Henkel because he was the first to accept him and need him.
Again, not love. He desperately needs therapy.
While K used him for his blood and power, Jerome used him as a source of emotional and physical safety.
He might think it's love, but it's more of a form of dependence out of survival.
What is between them is a deep bond, but not love.
K has moved on. I think he mainly missed Jerome because he couldn't find a new partner. And also, he cared for him.
Jerome if he wakes is going to feel absolutely betrayed and rage...but not at Henkel. And perhaps not at our puppy either.
He needs therapy. He has a lot of issues stemming from the abuse and self loathing.
What is between K and our puppy is something deeper.
It's not quite there just yet, but they are both falling in love. Our puppy fell first, but K may fall harder.
The baddies want our puppy's blood. But for who? Maria? Jerome? Zeke to make the drugs?
And do they really want to kill K?
Or is there something else going on? Some bigger picture we don't or can't see just yet?

But why?
A little bit of conversation could have persuaded them.
Was it really necessary? Or was it all a test for Grey because you don't trust him?
It just seems like a waste. They could have been useful.

Maybe it's his broken mind poping up?
The guy is legit crazy.
Maybe his madness is more prevalent than we think?
He just knee jerks kills people who may be or become a thorn because it's easier to deal with than actually work on making things better. He wants everyone to obey him with no doubts.
It's the opposite of this other series I'm reading. He realizes his madness and quick to kill behavior left him dying a miserable hunted by everyone death.
In his regression, he is still crazy but not quick to kill. He's also funny as he mentally torturing everyone around by saying crazy things. But is noble in his own way.

It's brilliant.
Hits everything I love, cultivation, regression/isekai/reincarnation, character growth, crazy humor, frenemies, and a moral code of the lead.
This story...I'm curious as to where it is going and how it will end...but that's it.
The growth I could see of his character in regards to his sister and her fate...has fallen since the school arc.
It's like he is emotionally and morally regressing to his past mad self and his teacher doesn't care.
This latest incident...it just drifts us further away from what he once had when he was around his sister. Without her, he is a near complete psycho.
If we get insight into his action regarding this it would be one thing...but he's killing potential allies and it doesn't make sense.
It feels like he is committing a fatal flaw and outigt becoming a tyrant when he could have an anti-hero.
The cringe defeated her.
I get it, she collapsed to the ground in horror, shame, and embarrassment.
I mean I would have just died so so respect that she is still with us.
*so I respect
And the way the audience was commenting on it...
If they knew it was a love song she wrote....they would understand why she got defeated.
Poor girl. Lol
