I don’t want to spoil anything here, so all I’ll say is, this couple has been known to role play, where kang specifically stops to ask if yiyoung is okay with the intensity when he’s not sure (from on or off). They are the type to have a safe word and know when it’s actually too far. Because this is a work of FICTION, we get to see yiyoung’s thoughts, and it’s literally he is just not feeling the type of sex kang is giving. Spoiler.

The wording is very purposefully confusing here, and imo, the author is definitely taking some shady liberties in actively choosing the language theyre using, but we find out later yiyoung loved how aggressively jealous the sex was. So I came to read the official translation carefully with that foresight, and see that yiyoung only really refuses because of their “no office sex rule” and is kinda fighting because he doesn’t want to cum too quickly. other than that he is 100 into getting dicked down ¯_(ツ)_/¯ the Korean readers were also icked here and were debating if this was a fantasy or not (it’s not)
I see why without that foresight this is worrying to some, but I think it was on purpose to make you worry, not to give you the ick. Y’all wouldn’t have survived okane ga nai and viewfinder era yaoi; rape in 2000s era bl was a lazy plot device to show a characters obsession with another, and manga/manhua aren’t totally free of that trope yet…..
