I have....also done the same before..for the same reasons as LeeWon but mine's either beaten with any hard materials like hanger, wood, then verbal abuse then always being said of if I don't get my grades back up again I'll be kicked out off our house. Reading his narration in chapter 1 somehow made me uncomfortable, I wonder why. I guess seeing your past from a third person pov doesn't feel good...at all
