First off, I think she forgave the family way too quickly. Yes, they were grieving losing both a wife and a mother is heartbreaking but that doesn’t excuse the complete neglect of their daughter. Their grief doesn’t erase the fact that their lack of care and attention led to her being physically and mentally abused under their own roof. They never checked on her, never noticed her suffering, and that silence allowed the abuse to continue for years.
Even if they later realized their mistakes, where was the accountability? Why didn’t they ever write to her, apologize, or try to visit? She died thinking her own family hated her. She passed away with that pain still in her heart and that’s absolutely devastating. I mean I guess I understand the brother he was a child but the father doesn’t get a pass he was an adult.
Now for the male lead honestly, it’s just weird. She’s 16. And this man who’s clearly in his mid to late 20s is not only romantically interested in her, but literally proposing marriage and asking her to be his queen. He doesn’t even know she’s age regressed or is mentally older. From his perspective, she’s just a teenager. It’s giving serious predatory vibes. Like damn ant least wait till she’s 20 or something but nah she’s 16 and I get it, it’s fictional and its timeline is different than ours but it’s still ughh Yk.(づ￣ ³￣)づ
