Masked skeleton

I... Have a question.
What's the use of a mask for a skeleton I mean. Can people usually differentiate a skeleton face from another if they don't work in the field? xD
And if it's to hide that he's a skeleton, shouldn't he wear clothes 1st instead of walking around (skeleton) butt naked to show all his ribs lmao
