So far the ml is putting me off of the whole story. I relate to the whole traumatic experience that our mc went through, so seeing a borderline manipulative ml who seems like they’re leading the mc on, without any reassurance is off putting. It’s giving sleezy.

This story really encapsulates the word Bizarre. If I ever think on this word, I will always remember this story. Its great.
I thought him being a rent boy meant, he was a slave passed around the aristocrats to be their plaything even at a young age. I thought even the Marquis was the who owned him and sold him like a pimp. But the ML fell in love with the FL, and the Marquis maybe had twisted obsession of keeping his daughter innocent, so decided not to marry her off to another noble. But instead to his 'dog'. So he could keep them both in his possession. Or something along that line.

Not only do we not have more comfort scenes at the end, with numerous scenes but the villian's death was so underwhelming that I wished he survived.
