why do some of you guys not track your manga/manhwa using the "want to read," "reading," and "already read" features? how do you keep track of everything???

Do you guys remember a BL about two childhood best friends where one kept pursuing the other for decades (literally until they were in their 60s I think), chasing away any girlfriends the other had, and the other knew, but wanted his pursuer to keep pining after him until they died? It was really toxic but sort of beautiful. Unfortunately i remember it was also a side couple.
