
Honestly it wasn't half bad as what people said, but it almost made me stop my reading half way through. I still had an enjoyable moment reading this, Cayenna is strong- it's interesting how the story ends up not taking the road I thought in the first place. I thought this story would keep her relationship with her brother anchored, until it took a turn for the worst. I liked that it was able to surprise me that way if I'm honest, because it made it more unpredictable. Also every time she refused Rafaello I was like urghh why it's clear you like him girl stooop... but it finishes well, even if it could use a few side stories I guess to tie some plot ends. The art is of course beautiful, maybe the story could've used not to have magic in the first place, but then again, it is magical that she got here so...
