Idk what they could be talking about but it could be how they write stories, lots of issues that characters go through. I would read hate mate so you can get a feeling of how they do their stories

Oh no this is just my personal feelings, their books just aren't what I'm into. I see a lot of praise for their other works so overall I think their very well received I just tend to come across their books start it because the art is pretty then not really like it, only to later put together that they were all from the same person
