One of them finally openly communicated what they want. Clearly it's not everything but we're finally making progress.

I think the process to 'getting past it' can depend on the circumstance. For example, if you're in some sort of leadership position, you should most definitely take into consideration what others are saying. You don't only represent yourself and youre going to have to continuously work with others, so make sure to at least consider others' inputs. ......

I'd like to think its the medication making the MC that dumb and senseless..... Like sure he did start taking it in the first place but it was recommended to him by a long time reliable friend. It went downhil after though.

I think it can seem like Seo-In is just jerking Yeongwoon around(and he is, a little), but truly he's just lashing out bc to him, Yeongwoon doesn't reciprocate his obsession. Seo-In's trauma is that his relationships with others(his mother, Yeongwoon in the past) all broke, either bc they were conditional or they left. He essentially wants an enduring relationship with Yeongwoon where the latter reciprocates his obsession.

Side note, the funny part about the others gossiping is that they aint exactly wrong. Seo-in can be kinda an asshole.

Take a page from Ian's book ladies and gets, seize every opportunity that comes your way.

Ian's a green flag with poor social skills LMAO HES SO CUTE. But i get it Eusan, he hasn't seen the guy in like over a decade. this would be kinda sudden. I do wonder why Ian decided to comeback and do a full frontal attack after so long though.

I'm so not a fan of Taegu's potential storyline rn. What he's doing isn't grooming because grooming implies that you intentionally raised someone in a way that 'prepares them' for you. There's no indication here that Taegu had any interest until recently. BUT the uncomfortable part is that Taegu still had a hand in Yeongwoon's upbringing. Sure it's legal now, but we never rly want to justify the romantic/sexual interests of someone that both watched someone grow up, and also has an older sibling dynamic with the other. Because at the end of the day, Yeongwoon is our viewpoint character and he clearly sees Taegu as an older sibling figure.

Justifying sexual interest like that just comes too close to grooming, and frankly, that's an area we want to stay far from, not toe.

It's never really a good idea to use religious or cultural terms too loosely, but just know that the author probably didn't do it with any bad intentions. We western readers sometimes have to remember that Korea is ultimately still a fairly conservative country with little personal connection with other cultures and mob thinking is basically the standard. A lot of the ppl aren't really aware of the concept of being culturally insensitive except when it comes to their own. This isn't me bashing on them, but just noting a fairly natural consequence of a country thats demographically very uniform.

The Muhammad quote may or may not be a saying, like how american's commonly use 'jesus christ' without really associating it with the religious name. Its likely that webtoon authors dont always write with the mindset that westerners will read it, and thus are less conscientious of its references.

The old man doesnt seem particularly sus to me, in like that I dont think he's ever been the actual cause of harm to Yeongwoon, but i just dont like it because Yeongwoon clearly seems him as like an older familial figure. But ahjussi seems more like a plot device to push the main couple together more than anything. I just hope he doesn't get more aggressive or impose himself on Yeongwoon(which luckily he hasn't yet)

I think it means a lot that Seo-In is bringing up the past now. If you remember from his past, his whole thing is to just bury bad memories so far that they basically just become irrelevant. His reminiscing about their school years is probably an indication that he's going to more honestly pursue 'something' with Yeongwoon, or at least be more open about his wants rather than constantly playing a cat and mouse game with him

At the end, theres a note that probably fell under the table. I wonder if it'll be relevant, like one of those "i left a note and you didnt call"

NGL, this being their 'first time' together....was nothing at all like what i'd expected. Ian's being a lot more forceful and forward than i'd expect from someone that steals and jerks off to handkerchiefs instead of actual flirting lmao. Also its hyper weird that he brought that up now....

It does make me wonder if the MC's last relationship ended due to his sexuality. He didn't seem uncomfortable being all up against Ian's junk + the ex-wife does hint that there wasn't actual love between them.

Ok besides the admittedly awesone s** scene, WHATS WRONG WITH THE ML?

Dude has complete memory loss prior to a certain time, and physically has some insane scars(have they explained an of it yet?), and was yakking in the toilet and then speaking to himself. PLUS, there's that scene where the girl and the doctor went quiet and dipped right away when he showed up at the dinner table. And what was the girl up to in that storage? And the sus dad for the sick kid?

Plus, what are the zombie/maggots even doing when they come back? Like just roaming around or do they retain some sort of consciousness? The MC has stated that they arent really harming anyone.

If this is what it's like to be desirable.....

Then I'm okay with where I am in life.

Chocho created a topic of The edge of ambiguity

I was a big fan of this story in the beginning bc I thought there was more to know about the chars and their personalities.

But there isnt. The main characters are quite flat and the only thing carrying them is this push and pull dynamic caused by the ML's baseless obsession with the MC. Some of the side characters had more dimension, like Taehee

The fact that the MC decided to....just give in bc the ML was persistent is.... not super appealing to me...

It wasn't even like the MC changed his mind or was convinced otherwise. it was quite literally that he just gave in.
