Yes it does BUT everyone's taste is different and looks for different qualities. I would feel him out first before you take a big leap of faith. Find excuses to talk to him. Ask for his help. Throw in some compliments. Find topics he may like to start some conversations. That can also help you see if he's even worth the time.
