i don’t get how hwan accepted and somehow justified all the shit dan-ryeong put him through and yet drew the line at being forced to have an abortion.
like he essentially went along with everything dan-ryeong wanted and only accepted the idea of basically being forcefully impregnated because it would be dan-ryeong’s child. i.e.: hwan cared more for what dan-ryeong wanted than the child itself.
it didn’t even seem like hwan had any sort of motherly instinct towards his child during the pregnancy. then im suddenly supposed to believe that hwan actually does have a backbone and he wants to carry the child to term. like ok pop off my pro-life king.
