My parents were garbage people so I struggle with these plot lines. If someone killed my parents I would be more weirded out that they were a murderer then that they killed my parents specifically, lol.
I'm sitting here going "I don't know, it doesn't seem like that big of a deal." And I realize that's not how I'm supposed to feel about this parent murder stuff lol.
