You'll understand when you're older, but there is few flags redder than a much older person telling you they're into you because you're innocent and not jaded like people their age. The fact he called out that he wouldn't be interested in him after a couple years it's also an incredibly red flag.
This old man is a predator looking for poor young men he can take advantage of. People that can't speak up against him when he abuses them. He wants someone who will just agree to everything he says. He knows he can manipulate them and buy them.
This isn't cute. This is alarming.
