I would be so mad if my new boyfriend picked a fight with my ex. Especially if he told my ex how much he hurt me. I cannot express how huge of a betrayal that would be.
Exes should always think you are doing fantastic. That you are moisturized and unbothered, regardless of how you actually feel because you are better off without them. One of my exes did give me a lifelong complex and I would die before I let him know that, lol. You can't give your exes that kind of power over you!
