wow i just binged this over the past 3 days, its so good despite season 1 and 2 being smut-less. its just somewhat heartwarming and fluffy to read. reading s1 on the first couple got me feeling bittersweet on the unrequited love then the yearning, the pushing away, worried about making things official. it made me miss having a crush on somebody (but it usually ends up bad anyway)
i see there are people who didnt like the 2nd couple? but i really really loved their story, probably more than the 1st couple. i like how heart-aching it is from yeonan's pov on literally everything, his fear of their relationship progressing, fearing that "forever" isnt real and that things will end one day. really love how both dalguk and yeonan is actually devoted to one another. i feel somewhat a connection to yeonan but its probably something deep about myself that i dont wish to/havent confronted. anyway, loved the story!
PLEASE tell me if mc finds out he actually has ml's name on his body in the later chapters on my knees im reading the official version so its gonna take forever to catch up and comments are saying season 1 ended already?

damon is sold to eden’s family under the guise of being an educater. he thinks hes taking advantage of eden’s status but turns out he’s the vulnerable one being manipulated & tricked by eden (damon=guppy being eaten metaphor). also! it says in ch1 “there should at least be a corpse” in reference to the dead/missing guppy, which foreshadows that damon’s death is emotional and on a personal level, not literal. +eden is the apex fishy b/c he also kills his father
throughout the story theres little hints about the complex between damon and eden. eden himself has a sexual daydream about damon on their first session, which breaks his innocent persona and shows that he knows the reason damon’s here, though it’s set up to look like he’s just rlly horny and not entirely sane (which true too). the maids are fine with bedding damon even tho he has a very apparent romantic relationship w eden, whos direct heir of the land. butler knows eden is trying to isolate damon whos oblivious to the plot, so he tries to speak up about it (in failure).
the letter in the end was probably from a bit after damon joined bc it mentions thanking eden quickly with sex and sealing loyalty, so my guess is eden hid it from damon. eden gives damon his mom’s letter the night he kills his father (who presumably s*xually and physically abused him) to trap him for good after damon found out he murdered his dad-edens final emotional manipulation before revealing his true self which forced damon to accept it.
i skimmed this story and this is just my interpretation, so i mightve missed some points lol
