So... I just binged the backstory- and I'll say confidently that I had a complete crying existential crisis breakdown...
We're both infps and this whole thing that happened with Lee Song-Rik is basically all my past relationships (platonic/romantic) combined just to add to the family's situation
I'm not saying the other party as Song-Rik is the bad guy! Not at all! After all- he did understand what went wrong and was the one to reach out!
However, as a sensitive person living behind a mask of pressure- priviledge does not instantly mean our problems are less than others...
This story conveis that so well! We trust people so deeply we become dependent on them, even if they do wrong we let it be because they say they care for us... We yearn for the possibility that whatever is wrong can be fixed just because of a small encouragement...
But then when betrayal hits and we want to hit harder, just to then regretting hurting someone and wanting to reset ourselves... we start to think our problems are really "not that deep" and start feeling like we're the ungrateful ones...
I love this story with my heart, and now that I've lived through that backstory, I'm wishing to meet a caring and trustworthy lover myself too, just like Jinhyeong... and also meet such wonderful and lively friends like those silly goobers.
Sorry for the rant and thx for reading <3
