this was a phenomenal story. one thing i really loved was how you didn’t know who the main character was going to end up with till the very end. it kept you on edge the entire time. another thing was that none of the characters were perfect. all of them had major flaws and were selfish. they didn’t hide that selfishness either, it was loudly expressed. i really appreciated that about this series. i’m someone who has worked a lot on my anger over the past couple years, i try my best to be a better person everyday. sometimes though i forget that it’s okay to still get angry or have negative emotions. it was very refreshing to read a story with characters who were simply humans struggling, trying to find their place in the world. the art style also fit so perfectly with the story and was just absolutely gorgeous. i’m definitely going to re-read this series and i highly highly highly recommend it!
