I'm aware there's more layers to this onion than what I'm thinking of rn but the moment that one panel where mc's image and his mom overlaps my brain was like "ultimately he sympathizes her because her traumatic situation reminds him of his mommy". I hate my brain for that. Or maybe I'll blame the countless emotionally constipated MLs with mommy issues I've read.
Anyway, I've done nothing but cry from chapter 1 to latest. Thanks for the beauty session (they said the more you cry the more you eyelashes will grow)
